ASB Bank sponsor’s the regions premier interclub competition. Commencing early October and concluding in March each year, this competition brings together the best players from throughout the greater Wellington region as well as from the lower North Island and top of South Island, including players from Auckland.
Slazenger sponsor the Wellington Association’s local interclub competition. The competition is played each Saturday and Sunday morning, is held at both the Renouf Tennis Centre and affiliated clubs and is played along similar lines to the ASB Bank Regional competition. In addition there is a Monday evening grade catering for those who have weekend commitments.
You don’t have to belong to a club to play at the Renouf Tennis Centre. Business House competitions are run throughout the year. Indoors in the winter and spring months and outdoors for the summer league and is aimed to meet the needs of the city ‘corporates’. Business House caterers for all levels of tennis players, from social to competitive and it’s a great way to team build and socialise with other corporate groups.
Frampton Signs sponsors the Region's Winter Interclub competition, commencing late May and concluding August each year. This competition is played fortnightly at club and association courts and allows players to continue competitive play year round.
Played year round, midweek tennis provides an opportunity for women and men to participate in midweek competition. The summer competition played at Clubs and the Renouf Tennis Centre begins in October through to March. In the winter months, an indoor midweek competition is played at the Renouf Tennis Centre, five days a week, from 9am – 3pm daily. Commencing in May and concluding in September.

If you enjoy social and competition tennis and you are 35 years and over, veterans’ tennis is for you. Members of the Veterans Club meet at the Renouf Tennis Centre fortnightly and play indoor and outdoor tennis. The local club meets with neighbouring Veterans Clubs from time to time and there are local Veterans tournaments where the focus is about participation and enjoyment. New members are always welcome.
